This Saturday, March 1, 2025, A Bluegrass Bazaar returns to Nashville at New Heights Brewing Co.
A Bluegrass Bazaar features music-inspired art, vending, live music, food trucks and delicious beer from New Heights Brewing, and is located less than a 1 mile walk to Bridgestone Arena.
Located in the heart of Nashville, TN, New Heights Brewing is a small craft brewery that creates ales we’re passionate about and crave—from intensely hoppy IPAs to crisp, clean ales and rich imperial stouts. It all began with a brew kit—that head brewer, Jeff Fountain, received from his wife, Tracey. After lots of corporate hours in cultures highly reminiscent of the movie Office Space, Jeff quit his 9-5 to do what really made him happy—working with his hands and giving back to the community by making great beer.
In 2014, armed with years of experience, research, plans, and thousands of backyard brewing hours to unearth the perfect first flight, Jeff and Tracey moved to Nashville to start New Heights —an ode to their San Diego neighborhood (our logo features the University Heights’ North Park Water Tower in front of the Nashville skyline), and a salute to starting new beginnings, making bold moves, and finding “home” wherever you are.
Need to get to A Bluegrass Bazaar from downtown Nashville? It’s a short walk – but we’re also offering $10 round trip shuttles from New Heights Brewery to Bongo Java at The Omni Hotel – only steps away from Bridgestone Arena and Shakedown Street.

On Saturday, September 14 in downtown Charleston, SC, the 4th Annual Drifter Fest: Bert Griggs Memorial Jam will be held at the Refinery Amphitheater, featuring the Rolling Stones’ saxophonist Karl Denson and his band Tiny Universe along with The Reckoning, Junco Partner, and Just Groove.
Drifter Fest celebrates the life of the late Bert Griggs. A huge fan of live music, he turned his passion into a well-received apparel and accessories company, Drifter Merch, that was inspired by his favorite bands. Additionally, Bert was an amazing father, husband, son, brother, and friend. He had an innate ability to make everyone he met feel like they were the most important person in the room. Bert never met a stranger. In fact, he was everyone’s best friend. He had the sweetest soul and a tender heart that loved hard and deeply. Bert had a unique sense of humor with an infectious laugh and smile that could light up the darkest room.
A free pre-jam will take place on Friday, September 13th at Home Team BBQ with 54Bicycles. There will also be after parties each night at The Commodore as well as Friday at the Palace Hotel.
