The Story: When I started going to Phish
shows in 95' I realized that I could use my talent of sewing
to make some extra money and pay for my summers of traveling.
So I made clothing and bags for the most part. In 99' a friend
on mine came into town before the summer run and saw a quilt
on our bed that I had made and gave me the idea to start making
patchy quilts with a Phishy theme to them. At first I wasn't
so sure about the idea because patchwork quilts take a lot
of time and dedication and to add a detailed applique would
be so much work. I wasn't sure people would pay what I needed
to get. So I made a few, took them to some shows and sold
out within a few hours. I was amazed. So from that point on
I made a few quilts for each show and every night I would
sell out. Summer/Winter it didn't matter
