If Phish songs in the 3.0 era were a rating scale from 1-10, with 1 being the worst, 10 being the best, we think it might look something like this:
1. Time Turns Elastic
2. Let me Lie
3. Grind
4. Sugar Shack
5. Hartford Psycho Kicculus
6. Worcester Hood
7. Miami Tweezer
8. Greek Cities
9. Camden Chalkdust
10. 7 Below -> Ghost
What would your Scale from 1-10 be?
you missed Back on the Train from Miami 09
that was a close one, tweezer beat it out
This list confuses me. The first 4 are songs, while the last 6 are specific instances of songs.
Don’t get me wrong . . . I love any and all things pertaining to Phish, but list makes absolutely no sense to me. Not only is the list inconsistent (are you rating songs or segues or parts of shows?), but it really doesn’t represent anything about 3.0 well at all.
I guess I understand what you were trying to get at, but you lost me when you jumped from Sugar Shack to the Hartford ’09 antics. I may have started my list like this:
#1 (worst part of 3.0). Ticket Scalpers
#2. West Coast shows omission
. . .
#10. (best part). They are back, healthy, happy, and playing with conviction, focus, commitment, and energy.
(P.S. I like TTE)
Chalkdust Camden 09 or 10? And is 7 Below –> Ghost the one from 11.28.09 Albany annddddd Worcester Hood is I think a little closer to #8 than 6.
I agree with the list for the most part. I would switch TTE and Let Me Lie though.
