The ever-popular Screens ‘n’ Suds has brought artists and art lovers together for over a decade, helping to support the MS Society. This year, they’re going green with a ‘Flowers’ angle on the series, aptly named Screens ‘n’ Buds.
With more than two dozen artists donating prints to the series, this fully for charity series has auctions that are currently underway, and updates can be found on their Facebook page.
Ending on February 4, a raffle for a Shang “Journey in the Suds” or Spusta “Maurice.” You can enter a raffle by donating $5 directly to the Screens ‘n’ Suds MS Walk Team. For each $5, you’ll get one raffle ticket. There is no limit on spots. Winner will be announced the morning of 2/4 and will receive either a Spusta Black Rubber “Maurice” mini or Shang “Journey In the Suds” print as a prize. Caleb Williamson, who previously made a sweet Land of Lizards map, has made some solid limited edition Summer Tour 2013 posters. His Summer Tour 2013 print is a psychedelic illustration of some of the wilder faces you’ll run into on the road, in the lots, and in the crowd on tour. The characters also represent the variety of tones the band’s sound has taken over the past summer. Like their jams, some are sinister, some are beautiful, some are full of humor.
These prints measure 11″x17″ and are printed on high quality card stock paper. Posters are hand drawn and digitally textured. The posters are in a limited edition of 30, both the Alpharetta poster, and the Summer Tour poster. Each poster is signed and numbered by the artist. Each poster is $15 which includes shipping and a bonus print from the artist’s collection of Phish related art!
Great thanks and appreciation goes to the following artists who were featured on PhanArt over February, March and April! With these donations, PhanArt and Friends has raised more than $1,000 for the 2013 calendar year and over $10,000 since August 2009 for The Mockingbird Foundation. Great thanks goes to the dozens of artists and supportive patrons who made this possible. Through their incredible generosity and spreading their art on PhanArt, these donations to The Mockingbird Foundation will help to promote music education throughout the country.
