2015 Donations to The Mockingbird Foundation

Over the course of 2015, PhanArt has held art shows in Miami, Chicago and Philadelphia, brought new artists to fans through this website, and continued to promote this grand art community we are all a part of. Through these, donations for The Mockingbird Foundation have been raised in greater number than before.

In 2015, PhanArt and friends – artists and those who support those artists – raised $14393.43, raising the overall total money raised to support music education through Mockingbird to $32860 since 2009. In one year, we came close to doubling the amount of money raised in the five years prior, thanks to the generosity of artists and patrons alike. A deep, heartfelt thanks to those who made this year a banner year in raising funds for The Mockingbird Foundation to promote music education throughout the country.

Keep Tahoe Woo! Stickers and Shirts

Inspired by the epic jam in Tahoe, here’s the obvious adaption of the ubiquitous Lake Tahoe icon on t-shirts and stickers. The first round of printing (which he did all by himself) was in high demand and sold out quickly.  He’s returned to make these available in more colors and in stickers – see below for ordering links. 10% of the all profit go directly to The Mockingbird Foundation!

There is quite a background on this design. Remember the “Keep Trey Sober” stickers?  The original version that design is based on is “Keep Tahoe Blue,” a non-profit “dedicated to protecting, restoring, and advocating for the ecosystem health and scenic beauty of the Lake Tahoe Basin.”  You can check them out here:

http://www.keeptahoeblue.org/

In order to make these widely available and sold on-demand, he is using Zazzle to handle printing and shipping. They will handle all sales logistics: shipping, handling, returns/exchanges, etc. They have a 100% guarantee and frequently run sales, discounts, etc., so be sure to read all the fine print before ordering!

T-Shirts are $26.95 plus shipping:

Via Phish.net:

Lake Tahoe is looking an awful lot like Gamehendge as Evil King Wilson plays his winning hand on this gorgeous new print created by master printmaker AJ Masthay for the upcoming Phamily Poker Classic 3 charity poker tournament. This 5-color linoleum block print was hand-crafted in an edition of 150, and the only way to get one is by joining the tournament at Harveys Lake Tahoe on July 31st. Held to benefit The Mockingbird Foundation, the Phamily Poker Classic 3 features a generous cash prize pool, great bonus prizes, and one of these stunning prints for each player.

Our plan is to give each player the print number that corresponds to their final position in the tourney. So, for example, if you bust out in 100th place, your print will be #100. But for those with the luck and skill to make the final table, we have something special. AJ has created a unique Final Table Variant of the print … an edition of only 10 … on a special wavy metallic paper that really pops. Check it out here! The only way you’re going to get one of these beauties is by making the final table, so get practicing your cards!

Seats are filling quickly for the Phamily Poker Classic 3, and once people feast their eyes on this print, we anticipate a quick sellout. Sign up today to reserve your print and seat in the Phamily Poker Classic 3, and we’ll see you in Tahoe!
