ScarletFire Handmade by Studio La SiL is a collection of artisan jewelry & accessories inspired by music, festival vibes and the ocean. Handmade works of art created by La SiL are made in an independent artisan studio in Plymouth, Massachusetts by the beautiful coastal waters of cape cod.
The music collection is inspired by listening to live music and traveling. These art pieces will play on forever and a percentage of sales will go to The Mockingbird Foundation to help raise money for music education for children.
The 5 elements of earth, water, air, fire and aether also inspire La Sil. The free flow design patterns represent these basic ideas as a primitive building block. Her ‘glass earth series’ is about the planet and its fragile ecosystem that lives harmonious throughout all living things organically, as well as an ocean series ‘wave’ collection that is inspired by living and working by the ocean.
Designs are fabricated in silver, gold and platinum metals incorporating precious gemstones, hand blown glass, authentic sea glass and high grade pearls. Most pieces are signed by the artist, hand engraved on the piece, or with a metal or leather tag with her artist name, La SiL.
La Sil is based in Massachusetts and has been making art inspired by Phish since the late 90’s and has a new line of jewelry and more to share with phans. Custom work is also available.
Check out more work at StudioLaSiljewelry.com and on Facebook and Instagram.
If you’re looking for something to pass the time, working on jigsaw puzzles together is a classic activity. Even if the kids roll their eyes, they’ll soon get into it and have fun that can even strengthen your family bonds. It’s also a good way to teach your kids, grandkids, parents or spouse a bit of lore about something you’re passionate about. Apple News even wrote a story about puzzling during this time.
Dan Skolnik at Shmoggers Den has written in Relix about the art of tape cover, and has taken the J-cards from tapes and created Phish tape cover puzzles and Dead puzzles. You can get tape cover art on shirts, posters, and mugs. Among the art you can find are a puzzle of “Best Reba’s Ever” and “Best Jibboo’s Ever,” as based on Phish.net and a few of Dan’s favorites.
