The Mockingbird Foundation is delighted to be part of the upcoming PhanArt Show at The Brooklyn Bowl Las Vegas.
As Fall Tour comes to an end, we wanted to extend a sincere thank you to the art community and PhanArt for its support of The Phish Companion, 3rd Edition these past few months.
To celebrate and show our appreciation, in addition to selling copies and taking orders of the new Phish Companion at our event rate of $39 (includes free shipping), we’ll be cracking open the Foundation’s art archives including the few remaining stashed-away copies of some of our most coveted prints.
What does that mean?
Amazing new art from top artists created just for Mockingbird! Experience Ryan Kerrigan’s new “Evolution of a Costume”—a celebration of the Phish Halloween tradition—makes its debut. We’ll have Isadora Bullock’s “Out of Control,” a stunning linocut print. And if you haven’t seen AJ Masthay’s stunning new “No Future at All,” brace yourself, because when AJ does Gamehendge, faces are going to melt. Both Isadora and Ryan will be on-site meeting fans and adding custom remarques (art talk for “doodles”), and we’ll even try to bring a few hard to find AJ variants! (Including the copper foil.)
We’re also bringing along some nice stacks of the eight glorious prints created to illustrate The Phish Companion. Even those that have been long sold out online will be available at amazingly low show-special prices. Get there early, as we’ll have a few complete sets of 8 at a great low price. Welker, Masthay, Status/Helton, Duvall—we’re bringing plenty and pricing them to celebrate, and once they’re gone, they’ll no longer be available.
We even found a few Welker foils, the scarce Welker Glow in the Dark art print, and even AJ’s rare foil variant (only available last year at PhanArt Philly). We’ve dug even deeper to find a handful of AJ’s groundbreaking “Famous Mockingbird” and his brilliant take Tahoe as Gamehendge, plus our coveted BoyerArt jerseys (featuring art from Welker and Masthay)—this special Halloween sale will deliver the meat at bone low prices!
The Companion will be on sale at our show-low price, and every book bought includes a print from the archives. Special bundles will add poster variants, Welker/Masthay jerseys and other new READ THE BOOK items. With books selling quickly and quantities very limited, there is no better time to support Mockingbird (letting us help kids make music!), with a book and art that every Phish fan will love and appreciate, it’s a great time to start your holidaze shopping!
The Phish Companion team could never have delivered what many consider the best Phish book yet without the tremendous support of the contributing writers, artists and photographers. We’ll be featuring several of them at the show (Jason Kaczorowski will be meeting fans and signing photos at 1:30, and AZN Pics and Jake Silco Photography will also be featured, with photo and canvas photo prints (generously donated by the photographers) being sold to benefit Mockingbird.
