A Mayan Mandala for Mexico. This print from Ryan celebrates the first ever all inclusive resort destination shows by Phish.
The shows took place on the pristine beaches of the Riviera Maya in Mexico on January 15, 16, and 17 of 2016. These shows mark the first time Phish has ever performed in Mexico and had fans dancing in the sand and surf.

MJK says about this print: “I drew this poster while visiting Alaska, at home in the Adirondacks, in a cramped NYC apartment, and during long graduate school classes in lieu of taking notes. It depicts a phictional ski mountain town and includes over 102 phish songs. The original drawing was done on two pages of my sketchbook, which I taped together at the seam. It was done for my older brother, my longtime phish companion, who still has the original. The drawing was completed in August 2014. I have made larger art prints of the drawing with minor clarity tweaking, which are for sale on etsy under MJKOriginalArtwork. My dream is for this poster to end up in the hands of Jon, Mike, Page and Trey–and anyone else who’s life has been made a little bit better by phish.”

Phish en Mexico art has officially arrived. Michael Boyer’s three color screen-print on Foil using transparent UV inks. This run totals 200 prints, but divided into 4 sets of 50 with rainbow foil, sparkle foil, and lava foil on black. The final option screams class with rainbow foil on white. On January 1 after the Phish concert at Madison Square Garden, David Welker will hold a special late night event at 527 West 23rd street. In collaboration with Hoerle-Guggenheim, Relix Magazine and Welker Studios, META will orchestrate a sensory happening. A metaphysical mind expanding experience with a cast of characters inspired by some of Welker’s recent art, celebrating the convergence of art and music and the closing of the “Subconscious Narratives” show.

The “Mockingbird Foundation” will host an afternoon charity event on December 30, the first day of the Phish New Years run, at the Hoerle-Guggenheim Gallery on December 30 from 12noon to 4pm. There will be a special ultra-limited line art version of “Rutherford” and the profits will benefit music education for kids.
Jon Rose has created a reduction cut, woodblock print to commemorate the Phish shows at Madison Square Garden this coming New Years. The print will be available for a very limited time, with online sales lasting only 24 hours from Thursday, December 17th at Noon EST until Noon EST December 18th. Order here.
Inspired by the history of the Garden, Jon chose to portray what was the second building to have the name. Now referred to as Madison Square Garden II, it was built in 1890 and closed in 1925. Jon started with a 3 color split fountain, then grey and black, reduction style. “I wanted a bit of the split fountain to show through in some spots to tie the print together,” says Jon.
For this piece, Jon used 5 oil based ink colors: pPrussian blue, Napthol red and a hand mixed orange in a 3 color split fountain as a base layer. Jon carved away the block and then printed grey, carved away and printed the final color Black.
Hand Carved and hand pressed on Strathmore 400 series 2 ply vellum acid free paper using Gamblin oil based inks, the print measures 22″ X 10″ and is signed and numbered in an edition of 50.
As prints are hand carved and pressed, making each one unique with subtle variations from print to print.
