Texas Prints by Groundscores Unlimited

Phish decided to stop by the great state of Texas this tour – and both shows brought the heat!

After a great reception on lot in Austin and Grand Prairie, Groundscores Unlimited is putting their remaining prints up to be sold online.

The prints are a 15″x20″ two color screen print on Neenah Classic Laid paper, signed and numbered by the artist. They are $30 with free shipping, and 10% of proceeds are going to the Mockingbird Foundation.

Grateful Dead Go Out for a Ride – Poster by Schlayer Design

As exhibited on Sunday, July 5 of In All Good Company, this print from Schlayer Design is a screenprint of The Grateful Dead riding in San Francisco on a Bicycle.

The print was originally designed for the 2013 Artcrank San Francisco Poster Show, a poster show for people who love biking. As a Bay Area resident and long time Grateful Dead fan, Schlayer wanted to have some fun with the band by placing them on a six person bicycle. The illustration features numerous references to San Francisco and the Grateful Dead and their lyrics.

This poster is printed on white paper with 6 colors of ink, measures 18″x24″ in an edition of 100, with a cost of $40 via Etsy.

Limited Edition Art Available from The Mockingbird Foundation at Garcia’s on Saturday, May 16

At the upcoming PhanArt Presents show at Garcia’s at The Capitol Theatre, there will be art featured from AJ Masthay, Pinsanity, Fred Sutter, The Shakedown Shop, PhanArt, as well as limited edition prints to benefit The Mockingbird Foundation.

All prints are first come, first serve, limit of 1 per person. Admission to the PhanArt show is $10, which includes sets from Solaris and Formula 5. Pick up tickets in advance here.

Alt-J Silkscreen Poster by Emek

Set for release on Thursday, April 30 at 12pm PST, Emek’s Alt-J poster is printed on special Holo-paper, in a signed, numbered and doodled limited edition silkscreen of 100. Cost is $75 + shipping for this 18” x 24” print. Limit one poster per person.

Alt-J formed while at Leeds University in 2007. The band’s unusual sound stems from the fact that due to living in student halls, where noise had to be kept to a minimum, they were unable to use bass guitars or bass drums. They were voted Best British Album and band of the year in 2012. The band’s symbol is the delta sign, ∆, which is traditionally used in scientific study to indicate “change” or “difference”. The ∆ symbol can be typed on an Apple Mac with the key sequence alt + J
