On Saturday, November 30 in Providence, RI, PhanArt will bring together more than 20 artists at the Hilton Providence. Held from 1-6pm with free admission, fans can find art, clothing, pottery, pins, accessories and other Phish-inspired memorabilia.

Groovesafe will be the charitable organization at these shows, raising money to support a worthy cause – a movement within the musical community to bring awareness about unwanted touching and sexual assault at concerts.

PhanArt will bring together more than 30 artists for the 2018 New Year’s run Phanart Show, held on Saturday, December 29th at the Hotel Penn (across the street from MSG) from 12-5p. Admission is free with tubes for purchase, along with an extensive variety of clothing, posters, pins, memorabilia and much, much more. Phish Fans for Racial Equality (PHRE)
PHRE will hold a meet up at 2pm at the PhanArt show to help raise awareness and support Champions of Racial Equality in Arts Theatre and Education (CREATE, Inc.), which “provides opportunities to artists of color, primarily of African American decent, to strengthen their artistic voice, allows audiences of color to witness their stories lifted into art by their community and enlightens others by cultivating insight and understanding of specific racial, ethnic and socioeconomic groups.” Please consider donating to their GoFundMe to help them create a new web series.

For the Tahoe Art, Andrew will be reprising the 2013 Tahoe “Sunrise Over the Turquoise Mountains” design across a number of platforms including shirts, hoodies, fridge magnets and a dual sided keychain that features the 2018 design on one side and the 2013 design on the inverse. It will also be the first chance to grab this years Gorge items including Bryant’s first foil print in two different variants in addition to multiple new pins, magnets, hats, stickers and all types of other goodness. “Lunch Sacs” will be available as well.

The first is a handmade, 8″ x 10.5″ three-color linoleum cut print commemorating Phish’s 11th festival, Curveball. It is inspired by both old school baseball and sci-fi posters and printed with water-based Speedball block printing ink on high quality Strathmore paper. Cost is $25 for the poster.
The second is a hand-printed, five color linocut print commemorating the Phish shows at Lake Tahoe Outdoor Arena at Harveys, July 17 and 18, 2018. “Woke the Witch” is a tribute to the song “Axilla,” and the Halloween Tradition of ‘That Band From Vermont’. Rose tried to imagine the scene from the following passage: “I woke the witch with reverence reserved for serpents, snails, and slugs” in designing the poster.
“MGM Lionfish” – Single layer woodblock print made with spraypaint and oil based inks and printed on Mohawk Superfine Paper. Edition of 20 gold & 20 red with surprise variants available only at the PhanArt show.
The first layer is a metallic gold spray paint, followed by a subtle split fountain of red to orange, then a final layer of black. A hand carved, reduction cut, woodblock print printed with an etching press on Mohawk Superfine Acid Free Archival paper. Measures 20.5″ by 10″, signed and numbered in an edition of 100. Held in The Gold Room at The Hotel Pennsylvania, located across the street from Madison Square Garden, PhanArt will bring together a variety of vendors and artists exhibiting exclusive Phish-inspired posters, pins, shirts and unique wares. Admission to this event day long event (12pm-7pm) is FREE.
The lineup for Skyscraper is Grand includes a wide array of artists from across the country and always expanding Phish art community. Longtime Phish artists The Art of Ryan Kerrigan, Uncle John’s Outfitters, John Warner Studios, Isadora Bullock, Jampanties, Michael Boyer, Super Rad Cape Co., OTTO Art, Fred Sutter, The Overhead View, The Ultimate Trade Zone, PhanBadge, Heady Hats and Prints Caspian are among the exhibitors and artists to be found, each with a portfolio from of current and past art.
Pin makers and designers Pin me Down, Zenster Designs, Andrew Bryant and 10 Minute Tube Designs will feature their ever-popular pin series and designs, as well as other items made specifically for the New Years run and Phish’s Mexico run in January.
New additions to the show include Eden’s Rose Foundation, Pop Pop’s Terrapin Station, Pinsanity Designs, Brian Bojo and Heady Teddy’s!
The Mockingbird Foundation, which has awarded grants for music education totaling more than $900,000 over the past 15 years, will feature prints from The Phish Companion 3rd Edition, where Phish’s 33-year career is interpreted by top artists including David Welker, Justin Helton, DKNG and AJ Masthay.
Lauren Bozich, You Enjoy My Shades and His End Was the Road are among the first time exhibitors, each bringing something new to the show, including clothing, pins, patches, sunglasses, apparel and much more.
A playlist created by Blank Space will set the tone for the show, adding to the lively vibe of this event throughout the day.
PhanArt exhibitions have been held in Philadelphia, Atlantic City, Chicago, Las Vegas and Miami since 2013 and represent a continued effort to promote and exhibit original and unique concert art from a wide variety of artists.
The eclectic artists featured at this event show the broad scope of Phish related art and capture the inspiration of the band in their art. Phish’s creative fan base makes amazing art inspired by the band, their music and the locales they play.

Pin designer and maker Andrew Bryant will have multiple versions of the popular “In lights” series from various eras and stage setups of the dead history as well as a 5 piece puzzle set and show specific pins for the 3 night run in Chicago, as well as 13 point belt buckles, lapel pins and mini prints of a few of the designs. Andrew will also be doing a raffle for a full set of all items (including the very special LE of 13 gold plated items) as well as many smaller winners throughout the day. All of the items will be debuted at the art show on July 4th and will be sold exclusively at the show besides a very limited (25 units) blind pre-sale package for all items.
The only officially licensed Grateful Dead photographer, Robbi Cohn of Dead Images features matted and framed art, licensed by the Grateful Dead as well as Jerry Garcia’s estate. There will be very special limited edition pieces printed on aluminum.
Featuring posters, collectibles and 50th anniversary merchandise, Sunshine Daydream Hippie Shop will feature vintage Grateful Dead posters, Stanley Mouse designed wall sculptures, GD Hot Wheels cars and officially licensed GD merchandise. Additionally, Sunshine Daydream has contributed a Sunday ticket to the fundraising efforts of Summer Camp Music Festival’s ‘Make A Difference’ table.
Andrew Bryant has revealed a sneak-peek at his pin, ‘Northerly in Lights’, available exclusively at the PhanArt Poster and Pin Exhibition. Cost is $20 while the four piece “Members in lights” pins are $65 for the set. There is also going to be a PhanArt Exhibition exclusive LE set of 50 variants of the “Members in Lights.”
