PhanArt is pleased to announce the lineup for the first art show of 2018, and the first in Lake Tahoe! Andrew Bryant
For the Tahoe Art, Andrew will be reprising the 2013 Tahoe “Sunrise Over the Turquoise Mountains” design across a number of platforms including shirts, hoodies, fridge magnets and a dual sided keychain that features the 2018 design on one side and the 2013 design on the inverse. It will also be the first chance to grab this years Gorge items including Bryant’s first foil print in two different variants in addition to multiple new pins, magnets, hats, stickers and all types of other goodness. “Lunch Sacs” will be available as well.

Faith has two posters available at the show.
The first is a handmade, 8″ x 10.5″ three-color linoleum cut print commemorating Phish’s 11th festival, Curveball. It is inspired by both old school baseball and sci-fi posters and printed with water-based Speedball block printing ink on high quality Strathmore paper. Cost is $25 for the poster.
The second is a hand-printed, five color linocut print commemorating the Phish shows at Lake Tahoe Outdoor Arena at Harveys, July 17 and 18, 2018. The design is inspired by 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea, and classic national park posters. It is printed with water-based Speedball block printing ink on high quality Strathmore paper. The cost is $30.

PhanArt returns to New York City this holiday season with TWO shows during Phish’s New Year’s run at Madison Square Garden.
On December 29th, PhanArt brings more than 20 artists together at The Hotel Pennsylvania for Skyscraper is Grander. The following day, PhanArt will feature 10 artists along with Formula 5 at American Beauty for a pre-show event from 3-7pm, hosted by Live for Live Music. Both shows arefree to attend. Hotel Penn is located across 7th Avenue from MSG while American Beauty 251 W. 30th Street.
Held in The Gold Room at The Hotel Pennsylvania, located across the street from Madison Square Garden, PhanArt will bring together a variety of vendors and artists exhibiting exclusive Phish-inspired posters, pins, shirts and unique wares. Admission to this event day long event (12pm-6pm) is FREE.
The Mockingbird Foundation, which has awarded grants for music education totaling more than $900,000 over the past 15 years, will feature prints from The Phish Companion 3rd Edition, where Phish’s 33-year career is interpreted by top artists including David Welker, Justin Helton, DKNG and AJ Masthay.
JEMP Radio will be broadcasting live from the show on the 29th, featuring a selection of funk that sets the tone for the day.
For the first time, shipping from the PhanArt show will be available, along with tubes to purchase. A station will be setup for fans to purchase postage and tubes, and ship items purchased at the show home.
The December 30th show features 10 artists while Upstate New York jam band Formula 5 performs two sets of music. The art show begins at 3pm, with Formula 5 hitting the stage from 4-7pm. The band recently celebrated a successful Kickstarter campaign for their third studio album and put on an energetic, rock improv show to get you warmed up for Phish at MSG later that night.

On May 16, Garcia’s at The Capitol Theatre will host Formula 5, SOLARiS and a PhanArt show, from 6pm until 1am. This show features two rising bands from Upstate New York and an exhibition from artists AJ Masthay, Fred Sutter, Pinsanity Designs and The Shakedown Shop. Tickets are available now.
Also available at the PhanArt show will be a limited number of David Welker’s “Rutherford” the first in a series of prints from the upcoming The Phish Companion, 3rd Edition, with proceeds to benefit The Mockingbird Foundation. Tubes will be available for purchase at the show.
Copies of PhanArt: The Art of the Fans of Phish will be available for the first time since 2011, with a limited run of 50 books printed.
Garcia’s doors open for the PhanArt show at 6pm sharp with music starting at 830pm. Admission to the show is $10 and includes performances by Formula 5 and SOLARiS. The PhanArt show will run from 6-10pm while music will go until 1am. Garcia’s bar will be open throughout the show.
Formula 5, hailing from Albany and Lake George, NY, have recently released their first live album Live Five, Vol. 1, with Summer Tour dates across New York and New England. SOLARiS, a high energy jamtronica trio from Ithaca, NY will start the night out. The two bands perform for the first time at Garcia’s, a venue known for discovering emerging talent alongside established acts performing at The Capitol Theatre.

Ryan has prints for sale of his Las Vegas print, and at the art show he will have his exclusive limited edition canvases of the print, only 14 made. They measure 20″x20″ and cost $80.
A “symirracle eye candy motif design” by Jay Rizzi, this print is composed from an original Cat Z watercolor painting. Using mixed media and design, this print contains fall tour dates in an edition of 111 and measures 13″ x 26″ printed on heavy weight metallic linen textured paper.
