About this poster: This piece was done with Watercolors and India Ink. There are 350 of them and they are all signed, numbered and packaged in plastic. Justin’s story on the creation of this shirt: “I did the shirt while training our new intern. Basically I was teaching her how to create designs in Illustrator. She is very into “Pop Art” so the first thing that came to my mind was Andy Warhol and his Cambell Soup Can prints he did. So, I wanted to show her how to create a design with a similar feel. I already was brainstorming ideas to do a Phish shirt, so when I started working on that I immediately thought of Gumbo and just went with it. I’m into simplicity, so I didn’t want to get too wordy with the shirt. It was funny though because she had no clue what I was doing!

Yes, we’re equal opportunity music fans here, and although few bands fans have the creativity and marketing savvy as Phish fans, a moe. fan or two has been known to make a solid bit of fanart in their day.
