dead and moe. stickers – meat, moe.hawk and rec chem

Yes, we’re equal opportunity music fans here, and although few bands fans have the creativity and marketing savvy as Phish fans, a moe. fan or two has been known to make a solid bit of fanart in their day.

Everett Smith made these stickers for moe.down in moe.hawk/mohawk, NY. The Meat sticker doubles as a Phish sticker, which is awesome. Which band’s Meat is better? Tough call, but gotta go with moe.’s Meat on this one.

Best PhanArt from Hampton

With the 1 year anniversary of Phish 3.0 upon us, we took a look at the PhanArt Archives and found we had over 60 pieces of art collected from our time at the shows, in the lots, and at Best Poster Convention III. Here are some of our favorites, a mock-top 10, since we couldnt choose just 10.

Top 10 best lot items on tour this fall!

10. Keep Trey Sober sticker – there have been a few things in poor taste relating to Trey’s sobriety. This is not one of them. It’s a good idea. A group effort is needed in all recovery from addiction. Keep that in mind. IMG_5762 9. Ph1-N1 shirt – Created by John Warner and Jduballstars; a nice nod to the flu that came and went faster than it takes to play the song this shirt is themed after. ph1-n1-front ph1-n1-back 8. Andrew Abis MSG – This poster tells a ton of stories about the band playing MSG. This is GREAT art! Pick it up by emailing Andrew at   prints@onephanstrash.com – $35 with free shipping!

7. Phenster’s pins – unique as hell, and not the rip-offs of the logo that a few people had the cojones to parade around (you know who you are). Noah keeps coming up with hits, and the pins look to be a regular top 10 feature, if these are any indication! phishpins.blogspot.com

6. Albany Lot Shirts – created by two hometown fans for two hometown shows.

albany phish shirt 5. Jiggs’ Ghost shirt – An Instant Classic. Up there with Glide/Tide in the Phish Lot pantheon of shirts. mailgooglecom3367390 4. Steve Rogers Syracuse Poster – Orange and Proud of it! Sick hometown show too! Syracuse Complete 3. God Says Jerry’s Fine Indio Church shirt – yes, we know, its from Indio, but everyone on lot who saw this wanted one. We still want to know where to get one even! If you made it, or know who made it, get us in touch with the creator! IMG950334

2. AJ Masthay Atlas MSG – Sold out the day it went on sale, with an iconic image and Masthay’s 8 color linoleum block print. A highly sought after poster. So when does he get to start making the official posters? MSG_Atlas

1. Bobbleheads – these have been the hottest item throughout Phish land, and equally so, a reported pain to the Phish management. Technically, they arent legit, since they bear the resemblance of the members of the band, but at the same time, they are so amazingly put together and designed.  You cannot deny that, and as much as you want one, you probably cant afford one, since they are going for over $100 on ebay at any given time.

For the record, no, we don’t know where to get them, as we have been looking for the creator and that has been to no avail. Please, don’t ask. This mystery man/woman has chosen to remain unknown. Let’s respect that.

When Wookies Attack: Stickers from Eric Wyman

Eric Wyman is a graphic designer who lives in Portsmouth, NH.  His first show was in 1992 and although he didn’t make it to Hampton, he was looking online for imagery of what took place.  One search turned up a photo of two heads holding signs looking for tickets. One said “I HATE PHISH”. When a commenter pointed out the guy in the picture was demanding restitution for being photographed, the marriage with the wookie took place. It’s sarcastic, just like the sign.

wook_uno

It’s been a theme Eric constantly plays with since. You can see a couple of desktop images that he has created for some other treatments of the wook. The designs are created in a fun and playful spirit.  These stickers are 1 for $2, 3 for $5 and 10 for $15. Eric can also do magnets for an extra $1 each. please specify that in your paypal-age

Jiggs: Purveyor of Fine Stickers and Shirts for 8, since 2009

Our first in a long series of fan creations introduces The Art of Jiggs, a fan from North Carolina who has been ahead of the curve with his creations. Here we exhibit some of his newest designs for the upcoming shows this fall

Jiggs was the original designer of the 7-11/7-below sticker

Jiggs' 7 below

His newest creations include this sticker for 8.

8 sticker by Jiggs
8 sticker by Jiggs

The sticker was originally just a practice design, and blossomed into this final design. It’s a 4.25 inch black and white vinyl square. There were only 260 of these made, and currently there’s only about 80 left. these are 1 for 2, or 3 for 5.

Indio Sticker
1 for $2.00

3 for $5.00

FEST 8 SHIRT

Fest 8 Indio Jiggs
Fest 8 Indio Jiggs

This shirt was another in a line of logo parodies done over the spring and summer. The classic Super 8 inspired logo was a reference to the “do you have your hotel booked?” attitude that was rampant upon the announcement of the festival. There are only 4 left from the run, all XL, 2 long sleeve, and two short sleeve. 15 for short, 20 for long. – Since there are only 4 left, you may want to email him to see if there are any left before purchasing. mrminor@gmail.com.

FEST 8 Shirts
Short Sleeve XL $15.00

Long Sleeve XL $20.00

Jiggs also came up with this recent Chris Kuroda sticker, seen below.

It has been spotted on Kuroda’s own light board!

The sticker is still available, by the way…1 for 2, 3 for 5.
