Coventry stickers

Quinn came across a handful of this sticker he made for Coventry in 2004. “This DWD sticker is pretty self explanatory. My favorite band in the world broke up & although I was totally bummed, I wanted to say thanks for the best times of my life. Beneath the DWD lyric, it says “THANK YOU PHiSH! Aug. 14 & 15, 2004 COVENTRY, VT.” I think it’s fitting that it’s in funeral black too.

Astronaut and Voyager Golden Record Pins

From Eli Forrester come some unique Astronaut pins.

The first pin is the whats the usetronaut? Just a space-tastic phish pin.

The second pin is the Voyager Golden Record.  In 1977, NASA launched Voyager 1 and 2. Each satellite carried a gold record containing the “Murmurs of Earth,” a collection of sights and sounds that would act as a time capsule of our planet and species should any intelligent life form intercept the satellites along the way. Carl Sagan and a team of colleagues were responsible for deciding what information would be included on the records: how to say “hello” in 100+ languages, music from around the world, bird calls, thunder, and much more. The image on the pin is the same as the cover of the the actual records. Check out a detailed explanation of the designs on the pin here.

The quote on the back of the pin are the words that somebody (most likely Carl Sagan) secretly scribbled onto the records shortly before the satellites were supposed to be launched. Since everything aboard these satellites must be totally sterile and to exact specification, whoever wrote it almost compromised the entire mission.  But the records got sent out anyways and they are still in transit, en route to the nearest planetary systems which should take about 40,000 years.

Both pins are double posted and limited edition of 100. $15 each and free shipping. Eli is donating $1 from every pin sold through PhanArt to Mockingbird Foundation. For more info on the golden record click here

Antelope necktubes, cause it’s gonna be cold cold cold cold cold!

Presenting a very heady, very sensible piece of Phish clothing we fully endorse over here at PhanArt: The Antelope NeckTube!

First things first – What the heck is a NeckTube? Well, it’s a durable microfiber polyester/lycra pullover that fits loosely around your neck that you can pull up to cover up the lower part of your face and neck (hence the name, necktube). A softshell necktube, it is ideal for when you are biking, hiking, walking, snowmobiling, or pretty much any other activity where you want to keep cold air from rushing down your neck!
An added bonus, Antelope AND Tube; that makes for some tasty cowfunk jams. A strong selling point.

Neck tube
Antelope NeckTube

NeckTubes are machine washable, durable, will not fade and retains their cylindrical shape with no stretching! Created from a ‘technical fabric’, it keep moisture away from skin and is highly breathable, as well as being wind-resistant and water repellent. They were designed and printed digitally in England by Simon Ossitt, a Phish fan from the other side of the pond.

These qualities make it ideal for use in windy and wet conditions where you might need protection for your face or neck but are working hard and also need that extra comfort from the breathability, making it great for biking and trekking, but very adaptable…. these were designed by motorcyclists after all.

Another cool thing about the fabric is that it wont fuzz as fast as some of the competition due to the durability of the weave. They can also be worn as a skullcap or headband.

A portion of each sale will be donated to The Mockingbird Foundation.

Cost:$23.49 which includes shipping

Jiggs/Phro NYE Poster

From Jiggs:

In collaboration with Phro at Taboot Art, I am pleased to announce my first foray into Phish fan posters. Based on a solid concept from my good friend Phro, I created this poster around his cuckoo clock theme. This one had a great deal of back and forth until we hammered out the final image. I can easily say this is the most work I have put into a design before. The final image ended up turning out great.

The poster will be a 10 x 18 size, and at the time of this pre-order post, should be at least 8 colors (the colors represented here will be as close as possible, but as with any printing process, there will be some room for adjustment). The design will be screen printed on 100 stock water color paper. The posters will be shipped via a Uline poster tube, wrapped in artists paper, and will go out Priority Mail. There will only be 200 of this run.

The pre-order features a discounted price of 20 dollars, plus 10 dollars shipping (reg price will be 25 plus shipping). This pre-order will end on Wednesday, November 30th.

Please send $30 for each poster you would like (pre-order price and shipping) to jeff@tabootart.com with JIGGS/PHRO NYE POSTER in the subject, or email him directly at the email address listed.
