Phish is coming back to New York City to ring in (yet) another new year with another spectacular four-night run at the legendary Madison Square Garden. As the shows approach quickly, I am happy to introduce my newest screen print to celebrate the hoopla and hysteria of the main events.
The Garden is home to some of the most illustrious fights in boxing history, and I wanted to create a parallel to the nine-rounds of Phish looming to close 2011 and welcome 2012. Punch You In The NYE is a salute to the late great Joe Frazier and the monumental Fight Of The Century with Muhammad Ali in 1971 at none other than, Madison Square Garden in New York, NY.
PYITN is a limited edition screen print run of 125 on archival 100lb Royal Complements Haute Red paper (18″ x 24″), all signed and numbered. Please contact me if you are interested in pre-ordering a print. I’ll take requests for numbers on a first come-first serve basis, and will ship pre-orders BEFORE I leave for New York (until December 20). Orders placed after December 20 will ship on January 5. The newest edition of Fanzine Surrender to the Flow will be available at Madison Square Garden and features cover art by Senior Artist Drew Suto. A free publication for all, Christy Articola has produced Surrender to the Flow since 1998 and continues to add to the Phish community with a compilation of venue info, area info and driving directions for fans on tour, as well as articles, essays, reviews and much more from a collaboration of fans from across the country and stretching as far as Japan! From AJ Masthay: Sixteen Years of Raging in the Garden! First off, thank you to everyone who has been following along with the progress of the MSG Rapture sets on my new blog. I’m pleased to report that they moved along at a faster clip than expected and will begin to ship later this week. Because they progressed so quickly I’m also pleased to report that I have time to take on a project that’s been brewing in my little mind since last years NYE festivities – MSG Totems.
These totems celebrate the six new years dates (past and present) at the Garden, going all the way back to 1995 with classic imagery from each year along with the iconic Grand Central clock about to strike midnight on NYE. Each panel will measure approximately 6.5″ x 23.5″ and consist of 7 colors. Totems are meant to be viewed alone, or as additional panels for the MSG Rapture acting as “bookends” for the quadtych (does that make it a sextych? How naughty…) Edition size will be 150 and all prints will be available on my store website this Friday, December 9th at 12 noon EST*.

I am incredibly excited about the upcoming release of a collaboration between myself and the insanely talented David Welker. The collab has been in the works for some time and we hope to have them completed prior to the holidays. We’re still working out the details but so far we have it narrowed down to a silk-screened edition of 60 prints. What’s the theme? As David put it, “Think Flemish Pre-Renaissance Doom. Perfect for this Holiday Season.” Yup, it’s going to be dark… love it. Stay tuned for more details on how to get one of these very exclusive pieces.

This limited edition pin of 100 are individually stamped on the back 1.5″, feature 9 colors with glitter and two clutches. Cost is $15 per pin with $2 shipping.
In collaboration with Phro at Taboot Art, I am pleased to announce my first foray into Phish fan posters. Based on a solid concept from my good friend Phro, I created this poster around his cuckoo clock theme. This one had a great deal of back and forth until we hammered out the final image. I can easily say this is the most work I have put into a design before. The final image ended up turning out great.
The poster will be a 10 x 18 size, and at the time of this pre-order post, should be at least 8 colors (the colors represented here will be as close as possible, but as with any printing process, there will be some room for adjustment). The design will be screen printed on 100 stock water color paper. The posters will be shipped via a Uline poster tube, wrapped in artists paper, and will go out Priority Mail. There will only be 200 of this run.
The pre-order features a discounted price of 20 dollars, plus 10 dollars shipping (reg price will be 25 plus shipping). This pre-order will end on Wednesday, November 30th.

On 12/4/09 at MSG during the jam in YEM I shot off a quick text to Jiggs. It was brief and read YEMSG!!! The seed was planted, Jiggs went to design it and we made some stickers that you might have gotten anywhere since Miami. Now, you can get a permanent version in pin form. We are pleased to announce the YEMSG pin. This 1.25″ pin will be a simple black against polished silver. There are two posts, mounted vertically, and the back is numbered (1-100) and stamped with the Jiggs design logo. The posts feature the black rubber clutches, rather than the classic ones pictured. There will only be 100 produced. The pin is in production and is expected to ship to me at the end of the week (10/14). The pins are being offered both here and through Jiggs. If you are a collector, numbers 1-50 will be available at Jiggs Lot, numbers 51-100 will be available here at PhanArt.
